| On Wednesday 27th February the Provincial Grand Master Rt W Bro Keith Beardmore was pleased to attend the Installation meeting of Progress Lodge RAM at Preston. |

| Consecrated in 2011 the Lodge has kept a consistent membership standing today at 26 with some very experienced Brethren in its ranks. |

| The Provincial Grand Master, an honorary member of the Lodge since its consecration, accompanied by The Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies W. Bro David Emmerson, received a very warm welcome and the flawless ceremony of installing Bro John Ross Procter was undertaken by the Worshipful Commander Bro Alan Eastham. |

| Several visitors from East Lancashire, acquaintances of the new Worshipful Commander were present including Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master Bro David Anderson RAMGR. |

| The dinner after the Installation was first class and the level of conversation proved testament to the enjoyable atmosphere of the whole evening. |
| A very generous cheque for the West Lancashire Charities was presented at the conclusion of the dinner along with a beautiful Orchid for Mrs June Beardmore (Brownie points for the PGM on his return home!!) |
